For business

Benefits your team can afford to actually use.

Stop paying renewal increases on a plan your people avoid because of the deductible. Reef gives small and medium-sized businesses real coverage without a carrier, a TPA or a pharmacy benefit manager taking a cut first.

Before you look at tiers

Three questions every owner asks.

What does it cost me?
You choose the contribution model — fully fund coverage, split it with employees, or make the plan available for them to self-pay. Employer contributions for the tier that includes hospital and in-person care start at $199 per employee per month, and the lower tiers let you cover part-time and previously uninsured staff for a fraction of that.
Will my people use it?
That's the whole design. Participation collapses on plans with a deductible high enough that employees avoid care. Reef removes cost at the point of use — $0 generics and immunizations on every medical plan, $0 labs and mental-health counseling on Premium tiers, 24/7 virtual care with no per-visit charge. Utilization goes up, not down.
How much work is this for me?
Enrollment, billing and member access run through one system. There's no carrier paperwork cycle and no broker chain to manage. When an employee has a medical need, they contact Reef's care team directly — not your office manager.

What changes

Lower spend, higher participation.

Those two usually trade off against each other. They don’t here, because the cost being removed is administrative rather than clinical.

less than traditional plans

The savings come from removing the carrier, the third-party administrator and the pharmacy benefit manager — not from thinning coverage.

50

states, one price

Remote and multi-site teams get identical pricing and identical access, so you're not managing a different plan per state.

Employer questions

What owners ask before they switch.

Contribution models, ACA compliance, running Reef alongside an existing plan, and what happens when someone actually gets sick.

How much does a business need to contribute?

Employers choose the contribution model: fully fund coverage for employees, partially fund it, or make the plan available for employees to self-pay. Employer contributions for the tier that includes hospital and in-person care start at $199 per employee per month. The $99 Foundation plan and dental and vision add-ons give employers a lower-cost way to cover part-time and previously uninsured staff, often at no cost to the employee.

Can Reef Health work alongside the traditional plan we already offer?

Yes. Reef Health works as a standalone alternative or as a supplement to an existing traditional plan. Businesses commonly add Reef Health to cover part-time and uninsured employees, to give staff a lower out-of-pocket option beside a high-deductible plan, or to reduce total benefits spend while keeping essential coverage in place.

How does enrollment work for a team?

Enrollment is handled by Reef Health rather than by your administrative staff. A business submits a contact form, schedules a call with the Reef Health team, selects the plan design and contribution model, and completes enrollment. Employees gain immediate access to virtual care, concierge support, and in-network services. Enrollment, billing, and employee access are managed in one system, so there is no carrier paperwork cycle to run internally.

Will employees actually use it?

That is the point of the design. Participation on traditional plans drops when the deductible is high enough that employees avoid care. Reef Health lowers out-of-pocket cost at the point of use — $0 generic medications and immunizations on every medical plan, $0 labs and mental health tele-counseling on Premium tiers, and 24/7 virtual primary care with no per-visit cost — so the benefit is used rather than held in reserve. Redirect Health has scheduled more than 2.9 million appointments for members.

What happens when an employee has a serious medical event?

On the Premium + tier, hospital coverage applies to serious medical events. In an emergency, the member calls 911 and goes to the ER first, then contacts the Reef Health care team, which coordinates with the facility and manages billing. For planned surgery, the care team negotiates rates with the provider and facility in advance, explains the member's responsibility before the procedure, and manages aftercare and follow-up scheduling.

Which network do in-person visits run through?

In-person care runs through the PHCS Practitioner Only Network, operated by MultiPlan, giving members access to more than 800,000 doctors, hospitals, and healthcare professionals nationwide. Virtual care, referrals, scheduling, and case management run through Redirect Health's 24/7 care team in the member app. Any provider not already in the network can be requested with 48 hours' notice.
